Besides the prides of Kentucky which are horses, tobacco and whiskey, the state also produces dairy products, cattle hogs, fruit, wheat, soybeans and corn.

 

Kentucky also manufactures cars and other motor vehicles, furniture, machinery, textiles, steel and iron products, lumber and brooms.

 

The state is rich in coal. It also has large amounts of natural gas, clay, stone, petroleum and fluorspar.

The major cities in Kentucky include Louisville, Lexington, Owensboro, Bowling Green, Covington, Richmond, Hopkinsville, Henderson, Frankfort and Florence.
